Inside Krator™: One Ingredient, 60 Servings
VOLKANShare
Open a tub of Krator™ and there is one ingredient in it. Creatine monohydrate, 5 g per level scoop, 60 servings in 300 g. No flavour system, no anti-caking agent, no amino blend riding along. The supplement facts panel has a single line on it, and that is the entire point.
Two ways to fill the tank
Creatine works by saturation. Muscle creatine and phosphocreatine stores sit somewhere around 60–80% full without supplementation, and the job is to fill the remainder. There are two routes to the top, and they arrive at the same place.
Both protocols arrive at the same place. Loading gets there in about a week; 5 g daily takes about four. Curve shape is illustrative; the endpoints and timings follow the ISSN position stand.
Loading. The ISSN position stand describes ingesting roughly 5 g of creatine monohydrate — or about 0.3 g per kilogram of body weight — four times daily for 5 to 7 days. That is four scoops of Krator a day for under a week, and it raises muscle creatine and phosphocreatine stores by 20–40%.
No loading. Take 5 g daily from day one. You reach the same saturation, it just takes three to four weeks instead of one.
Neither is wrong. Loading front-loads the timeline and costs you more powder in the first week; the steady route is simpler and easier to stick to. If you have a competition or a training block starting in eight days, load. Otherwise, do not bother.
Why monohydrate and nothing else
The ISSN position stand puts it plainly: creatine monohydrate is described there as the most effective ergogenic nutritional supplement currently available for increasing exercise capacity and lean mass during training. That sentence is about monohydrate specifically.
Buffered creatine, creatine hydrochloride, ethyl ester and liquid forms are all sold at a premium against monohydrate, and none of them have displaced it in head-to-head testing. Micronised monohydrate is milled finer and mixes more easily — that is a texture difference, not a different molecule.
Paying more for a different creatine salt is the most reliably wasted money in the supplement aisle. Krator is monohydrate because there is no argument for anything else.
On safety and duration. The ISSN position stand states that short- and long-term supplementation — up to 30 g per day for five years — is safe and well tolerated in healthy individuals, across populations from infants to the elderly. It also notes that after you stop, creatine stores take four to six weeks to return to baseline.
The arithmetic of a 300 g tub
300 g at 5 g per scoop is 60 servings. On a 5 g daily protocol that is two months from one tub. If you load first — 20 g a day for 7 days — the loading phase alone consumes 140 g, just under half the tub, and the remaining 160 g runs 32 more days.
The ISSN maintenance range is 3–5 g daily, with the note that larger athletes may need 5–10 g. One scoop covers the standard range. If you are well north of 100 kg, a scoop and a half is a reasonable read of that guidance.
What unflavoured actually means here
Krator is unflavoured, near-tasteless and odourless because there is nothing in it to taste. Mix one scoop into 8–10 oz of water, juice, or a protein shake — it does not change the flavour of what it goes into, which is the practical advantage of a single-ingredient powder over a flavoured one.
It stacks cleanly with the rest of the range because it does not compete with anything: PyroZn™ before training, TekTonic™ during, KilaWhey™ after, GlutoKai™ alongside, and Krator™ whenever in the day you will actually remember it.
Timing is the least important variable in creatine. Consistency is the only one that matters. For the full dosing and timing breakdown, see how much creatine you should take per day. For the same treatment applied to our pre-workout, see what is actually in PyroZn.
What is in the tub
Serving size: 1 scoop (5 g). Servings per container: 60. Net wt. 300 g (10.58 oz). Creatine monohydrate, 5000 mg. Other ingredients: none.
Drink an additional 8–16 oz of water daily while using creatine. Do not exceed 20 g in a single day, and only during a 5 to 7 day loading phase.
