Protein Powder & Mass Gainers

Protein and mass gainer formulas built to support training volume and lean mass goals. Full amino profiles, printed doses, no filler.

Whey protein or mass gainer — which one you need

The choice comes down to whether you are short on protein or short on calories. They are different problems and the wrong product makes the easy one harder.

Choose whey protein if you hit your calorie target most days but struggle to reach your protein target. KilaWhey delivers 25g of complete protein at 130 calories per scoop, so it adds protein without meaningfully moving your daily energy intake. That matters if you are recomposing or holding weight.

Choose a mass gainer if eating enough is the bottleneck. If you finish the day under your calorie target because you are full, not because you forgot, MagMass supplies 1,240 calories and 50g of protein in a four-scoop serving. Drinking calories is easier than chewing them.

What to check on any protein powder

  • Protein per serving vs. per scoop size. A 40g scoop delivering 21g of protein is a very different product from a 36g scoop delivering 25g. Compare the ratio, not the headline number.
  • Concentrate vs. isolate. Concentrate retains more of the naturally occurring micronutrients and costs less per gram; isolate is more filtered and lower in lactose. Neither is universally better.
  • The amino profile, printed. KilaWhey lists its BCAAs by name and milligram: 2,582mg leucine, 1,526mg isoleucine, 1,455mg valine per serving.
  • Sugar in gainers. High-calorie formulas vary enormously here. MagMass uses a maltodextrin carbohydrate base with 3g or less of sugar per serving.

Running both

Plenty of people use both: a gainer on training days and heavy-appetite days, whey on rest days or when calories need to stay controlled. They are not mutually exclusive.

Allergens

Both products contain milk. MagMass in Scorchlate also contains peanut. Full ingredient lists are printed on every panel.
